
Mr. Doering represents clients in connection with estate and tax planning, including the drafting of wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney and advance directives. Mr. Doering also represents individual executors, administrators and other personal representatives in connection with the administration of estates and trusts, including the preparation of estate, inheritance, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax returns.
Mr. Doering also devotes a substantial part of his practice to business transactions, including the formation and representation of closely-held corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs) and partnerships. This portion of Mr. Doering’s practice includes the preparation of stock purchase or buy-sell agreements, family business succession plans, real estate contracts, mineral interest transfers, the sale of businesses and the negotiation of oil and gas leases on behalf of mineral interest holders. Clients include owners of a variety of businesses, with a substantial number consisting of family farms, cattle ranches and feed yards.
