Richard A. Kear
Mr. Kear practices in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, both in trial courts and on appeals. He enjoys the variety that comes with litigation, and has been involved in disputes ranging from will contests to women’s shoes, from common law marriage to tax liens.
Rick has particular experience in litigation regarding mechanic’s liens and other property liens, creditors’ rights, consumer and mortgage finance law, and construction issues. He has represented banks, lenders, property owners, contractors, suppliers, mortgage brokers and servicing companies.
Like others who grew up as a “middle child,” Rick spent a lot of time trying to resolve disputes before “The Judge” got involved, and that has carried forward into Rick’s pragmatic approach to litigation. Rick has been married for 16 years and has four children.
